For those who don't know me and might read this, I am Dena's sister. Dena was in the air headed for California, when the call came to me that Bob was missing. I said, "Oh, NO!" (or something like that), AND, when she said that Daddy had fallen trying to get in his truck to go looking for Bob, I said, "How did Bob get out??"

One of Daddy's neighbors, whose name is BOB, was among the group of friends who rallied together to assist with Daddy and join the search team for "O'Bob." It was strange to walk the streets yelling "here Bob!" and looking to see if my old neighbor would come running! It was also strange calling for a dog that I had never actually seen and hoping that a large Rottweiler didn't answer to my call.

The sun had set and we hadn't found Bob. We all dreaded the call to Dena, but I was more afraid of someone calling Sherry to tell her they had Bob, before we had a chance to tell her that we DID NOT have Bob!!

Daddy continues to worry about how Bob got through the fence. And he is progressing with his physical therapy. Who knows, Charlie may be walking again soon and back at home fixing his fence so Bob can visit again!! We KNOW he will continue to beat both Dena and I in Dominoes!

Thank you for making that long trip. It was wonderful seeing ya'll and I'm saving my money for next year! Now to get down to the business of making things from my treasures. The problem is that I don't want to use it because I keep thinking that a "better" project will come along.

Thank you for all things and please give Dena a hug for me. The sisters are praying for her dad.

What a face!

I just got home from a day-long training workshop at a Humane Society an hour from home...loooong day! My dog (adopted 6 years ago) and I are both exhausted, but it was a blast. I hope you and Bob have many, many happy days ahead :)

Now for a quiet evening of knitting (with the last bit of my Brooks Farm yarn) and cats. The dog is already sound asleep over her beloved and much-chewed deer antler!

Oh My, OH My! I'm thinking it's a good thing I wasn't able to go to Albuquerque ... I can resist most yarn, having a house full of it already, but I'm afraid my pocket book would have been really crying in the presence of those quilts and the jewelry. I'm surprised I haven't seen a new quilt in your house ... yet!
